ISD Cake

Roo and I drove down to Baltimore to pick up the ISD cake for Marcon for the room party.

Here it is!

If you're going to be at Marcon, the room party is Friday night - room number TBA.

If my inner Jedi was happy eating the Death Star, it's doing a jig at the thought of an Imperial Star Destroyer!

that looks awesome!

how many people did they say this would serve?
(as a cake decorator, im trying to figure what is cake, what is styrofoam, and what is gumpaste.)

how much did you pay?

LOL I would need to check the paperwork - I believe 20. But I've found that all of Charm City's cakes serve at LEAST double the claimed servings. They're huge.

The only styrofoam is the conning tower on the ISD. The only other non-edible bit is the piece of wire as part of the red guard's pike :)
I'm sure Duff was in Super!Geek mode making that cake. :-D
That is awesome!! Awesome piping job, too!

You will take pictures in the course of it being eaten and you will post them, yes? I too, want to see what is cake vs not.
Oh of course! Especially since many will be in Jedi robes. There's just something satisfying about that, you know? ;)
I KNEW there was a reason I was wearing my robes Friday night! ;-)
That's amazing! :D
That cake is hot!!!
I wonder if making the cake will get into any of the show? That way we can all squee and say "we know that cake thru the internet lurve!!!"
Much with the awesome! :-)
